MINUTY M is pure Pleasure, pure Provence and pure Minuty in a bottle. Pure Pleasure because of its natural and easy-going vibe. Pure Provence because of its selection of grapes from all the Designation’s terroirs, from the seafront to the hinterland and Sainte-Victoire. Pure Provence because of the bottle design that was updated in 2014 but invented and designed in the 60s by Monique Farnet, Jean-Etienne and François Matton’s mother.
The entire region made the revolutionary bottle shape their own which goes to show how the Matton-Farnet family has always set the benchmark for Provence wine.
Last but not least, Pure Minuty because it embodies the winery’s style with intense aromas paired with light flavours.

COMMENTARY: The 2021 Minuty
An inviting nose of rose petal, green strawberry and nutmeg. Medium-bodied with a silky smooth texture. Nicely flavorful and crisp with easy balance. 50% grenache, 20% cinsault, 20% syrah, 10% tibouren. Drink now.
The Matton-Farnet brothers, Jean-Etienne and François, have managed their family estate since the 1990s, blending this wine from estate and purchased fruit. It feels substantive from the get-go, its core of dark flavor distant at first, slowly coming into focus along its structured length. With air, stemmy savor gives complexity to the cherry notes. The wine is airy and open, though, a faint sweetness making it all the more quaffable—that expansiveness brought my mind to a pâtisserie window, electric-red macerated berries perched atop puffy layers of pastry dough.
